La Cura Hermosillo is one of our favorite spots in the city for fresh seafood and tostadas. We highly recommend trying the Saguaro Tostada — ask for a little spice, or extra spice if you enjoy heat. The tostada blanca, tacos, and micheladas are also some of our favorites. There's two locations.

Extend Your Stay
If you plan to arrive early or stay a few extra days after the wedding, we highly recommend a visit to San Carlos, a beautiful beach town located just 1.5 hours drive from Hermosillo.
While exploring other parts of Mexico is always a wonderful option, San Carlos is a hidden gem known for its stunning coastline, relaxed atmosphere, and welcoming community that is especially friendly to international visitors. It holds a special place in our hearts, it’s where we got engaged and a destination we love to visit whenever we’re in Sonora.
For accommodations, we recommend staying at Marinaterra Hotel & Spa (https://marinaterra.com/en/ ), which offers a convenient location near the marina, beaches, restaurants, and local attractions.
